We are so blessed to be able to worship a God who knows us by name each day. Over many months, we sorely missed coming together for corporate worship. Gathering to worship together is such a profound way of recognizing the body of Christ in our ongoing worship of God. As we continue to journey through this Covid season, we recognize that some are ready to resume corporate worship and others are not. We have determined that the best way for us to worship together as a body is to offer both in person worship and online worship. To that end, we will continue to gather on Sunday mornings outdoors to worship, while also offering an online option for those who wish to join our worshiping body from home. The outdoor service allows us to gather safely and comfortably and worship God surrounded by all that He spoke into existence for us to enjoy.
We recognize that the weather is changing, and soon we'll be moving our regular gathering indoors. At this juncture, however, we are blessed to be able to gather outdoors while the sanctuary renovations wrap up. Our goal is to make indoor worship available on the days when the weather does not cooperate with meeting outdoors. Attached you will find the protocol that we are putting into place. Please spend time reviewing it with your family. Health screening, scrubbing in, wearing masks, social distancing, designated exits, and even attendance being taken are all part of the protocol for returning to worship. Our outdoor worship services will allow us to begin practicing what will be required of us all as we move inside in the coming months.
We look forward to having a dedication service of our new sanctuary and celebrating what God is doing as we strive to become a Kingdom outpost in a world that so desperately needs the hope we know by name - Jesus. May we all experience His blessings of love and grace and of protection and health as we journey with Jesus in these difficult days.
