We welcome you to come be a part of our Easter celebration!!

Do you feel tired? Worn down by life? Stressed and anxious? Just sick of gray, winter days?

We have good news! Easter is all about hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This Easter season at Oakwood, we're getting "Ready for Resurrection." Leading up to Easter, we're exploring the ways that Jesus' death and resurrection give us new life to tackle the everyday hardships of life and also our bigger problems of suffering and sin.

All of this will culminate in our Easter celebration on Resurrection Sunday, and we have a seat saved for you and your family! It will be a fun time of food, fellowship, and discovering and praising God for the hope that comes in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What to Expect

Oakwood is a casual church with a welcoming, family atmosphere. The things we take seriously are God, the Gospel, and Scripture. What you wear? We're not too worried about that!

When you walk in, you'll be warmly greeted at the door. We'll eat breakfast in from 9:00am until about 9:55am in our fellowship area just inside the main doors.

Then, we'll head into the sanctuary at 10:00am for an upbeat worship service that blends contemporary and traditional forms of worship. Our service goes from 10:00am to around 11:15am. They'll be times of singing, prayer, and Scripture reading, and Pastor Dave will deliver a Christ-centered message from the Bible that will challenge us to find hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What about the kids?

Kids are welcome here! We love the noise and the energy they bring, so you don't need to worry about any side-eyes or looks.

During our service, we have nursery available for infants and toddlers and children's worship for children from age three through kindergarten.
