Each year, around this time, I'm reminded of a practice at the school I attended as a child. Every Thanksgiving chapel one of the classes, or sometimes the whole school, would recite together the words of Psalm 150.

What a great reminder of the attitude of gratitude with which we come before our God. He's done so much in our lives. His acts, His love, His faithfulness... all inspire our thankfulness. As you take stock of your lives this Thanksgiving, join me in praising God for who He is and all He has done!

Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
